Moodle Exam

 Good morning everyone.

I am Verna and here with me is Nathan.

We are the ICT associates of the Information and Communication Technology Development

Office of UPOU

Today we are going to demonstrate how to use the Exam Portal . Exam Portal is an installation

of Moodle, a Learning Management System.

This exam portal is used to conduct exams for students, particularly qualifying exam, compre

exams and other types of exam

Before we start let us make sure that

We have an account in the exam portal created by the Moodle Administrator

We will flash the available accounts on the screen. Please go to http://exams.upou.edu.ph and

login using your assigned username and password.

There is also a course site created by the administrator and we are enrolled on it as an Teacher.

As a teacher, we are allowed to add/edit the activities and resources of the course site.

Other assumptions are:

The Moodle administrator is the one who will upload the users or as we call them participants

who will take the exam

We have a copy of instructions and a set of questions and answers.

visibility, course start date and course end date.

the students to see this course site before the date of their examination

Just click the save and display button at the bottom of the page after making any changes.

declaration under the page description.

“I affirm that I have verified my identity with a UPOU examiner. I understand that taking

the Mock Science Exam without a UPOU examiner will nullify my exam and affect my

eligibility to take future admission exams at UPOU.

I also understand that the university policy on academic dishonesty covers cheating

during examination (e.g. passing exam materials or answers which are parallel to

copying, seeking help, online or whatever mode, to answer exam questions, etc., and as

such, my exam will be nullified should I be caught doing so.”

In the options tab type the student confirmation in Option 1 required field “ I affirm and I

understand ” and scroll down then click the Save and Return to Course Button.

Now let us allow the participants to add the Student Declaration and instructions.
